RE-RCT

Whenever the primary root canal fails the tooth can be saved easily with a repeat root canal treatment. The procedure remains the same as normal RCT, only difference being now instead of removing the organic matter we have to remove the old restoration materials. Most of the times a Re-RCT doesn’t even require Local anaesthesia. 

The reason of failure of RCT can be multifactorial. The important thing is to save the teeth by Re-RCT.
